This program is one of the most comprehensive company-sponsored employee education programs in the world. It provides employees the resources to stay current in their chosen field or enable new career opportunities and includes the following benefits:
- Sponsored tuition, academic fees and books at approved educational institutions
- Payments are made directly to the educational institution to minimize out-of-pocket costs
- Eligible employees can receive up to three hours of paid time off to study per week
- Employees may obtain a degree in any field, whether or not it is related to their job
Since the program’s implementation in 1996, more than one billion dollars have been invested in our employees’ education programs and more than 38,500 degrees have been earned by employees from over 60 countries. Our Employee Scholar Program sponsors employees’ pursuit of higher learning in any field, without any need for a bond to the program. The program is available to our global workforce, including here in Asia Pacific. Full-time employees are eligible for the program after one year of continuous service.
